Are you an experienced Financial Controller, who are passionate about reconciliations, reporting and delivering accurate numbers on time? Would you like to take part in building and operating the financial controlling at one of Denmark’s largest facility management contracts, where processes are being developed gradually and reporting practices are being established as we go? Then it might be you we are looking for.  
      
Your Primary Areas of Responsibility
You will in the role as Financial Controller & Reporting Specialist have a pivotal role in the design and daily operations of the contract’s financial controlling. You will over time obtain the day-to-day responsibility for reporting to the client’s controlling team under the guidance of our Finance Business Partner. We have developed a unique operating model for the contract, and you will be in the nexus of developing key financial processes, various reconciliations, controls and reporting to the client’s finance team. Your primary responsibilities will be:       

  • Day-to-day communications with the client’s controlling team.
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for review and approval by the client’s controlling team.
  • Responsible for key financial controlling tasks during month-end-close, to ensure numbers are correct and invoicing is done in accordance with the stipulations of the contract.
  • In corporation with the Finance Business Partner build and operate a comprehensive controlling scheme, to satisfy reporting requirements set by the client.
  • Training of Compass’ Service Lines in financial tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Comprehensive ad hoc specifications and documentation tasks on the request by the client.
Your Professional Qualifications
  • You have a relevant master degree in finance (cand.merc., HD-R, management accounting or similar)
  • You have 3-6 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor
  • You are a strong communicator of financial KPIs and accounting practices, and take pride in being able to communicate complex issues in an easily understandable manner.
  • You communicate fluently in Danish and English in both speech and writing.
  • Experience with Navision Axiom (or other BI systems) is an advantage.
