GE HealthCare’s new Strategic Sourcing Lead will join their Sourcing team of 3 enthusiastic colleagues with a mix of seniority and educational backgrounds. As Strategic Sourcing Lead you will be responsible for managing the supplier portfolio of Mechanical suppliers on a strategic and tactical level, supporting the foundation of Category Management and Supply Risk Management. Your typical tasks will include:
- Maintaining agreements and price negotiations.
- Facilitating the framework for Lean Logistics, including smaller call offs, shorter lead times, supplier Min/Max setup and secure long-term availability.
- Escalation points for larger issues with suppliers.
- Responsible for selected category strategies and ensure alignment with GEHC strategies.
- Facilitate Supply Chain optimization projects and benchmarks (DCW, Savings funnels, material changes, supplier changes).
- Ensure implementation with NPD.
- Supporting ECR & ECOs from a sourcing perspective.
- Supporting internal stakeholders with required information and data and ensure that their information flow is correct.
Your professional background:
You bring a Category Management mindset and a relevant commercial background with a minimum of 5 years of experience within sourcing, preferably from medical manufacturing.
- You have a proven track record of experience from Category Management within mechanics.
- You have a systematic and analytical understanding of the whole supply chain.
- You are motivated and self-driven, a team-player and like to share knowledge with others.
- You are fluent in oral and written Danish and English.
